some friends around me changed alot. Dissapoint me alot. It doesn't go the way where i expect them to react. I felt so hurt when they react like this. I felt that i'm no longer close with them. If you are reading this, u think is u, den is u.

Feeling so complicated now. I dunno how to react infront of this people. Act close to them? Act like nothing happen? It feels sucks.

Song Lin's Farewell dinner @ TGIF, Gardens.

She decided to quit her studies in KL and head back to her home, Penang.

Can you feel the stress???

Finals is coming up next week till the 16th. And i'm so not in good condition now. Lost my voice for few days and now coughing and having cold. My nose block like crazy since ytrday night, i have to use my mouth to breath. It's so sam fuuuuuuu. Plus hearing some ppl complaining so much about it just making me feel pissed off. I did most of the work i din even say a word. AND now u are posting it in FB complain about it? COME ON !!! GO GET A LIFE DUDE. YOU CAN JUST QUIT AND GO BACK HOME ENJOY UR LIFE. EVERYBODY IS FEELING STRESS AND HECTIC NOW. NOT ONLY YOU!!

Next monday composition final project due.
Next tues Ear Training and Song Writing due.
Next thursday Ear Training and Choir Concert
Next friday band finals.

15th for HAMM
16th for Pop History I.

I know there are more ppl have more subject and projects to passed up other than this.
I'm not complaining OKAY. Just writing it to remind myself how close the finals was.

Had my mid term for HAMM today. it really sucks because 99 % of the class includes myself dunno what willy was teaching. but luckily david save my life by teaching me some chapters like modal interchange and available tension. maybe need to take up some lessons from david adi.

my biggest fear.... haih..it's to SOLO ( a.k.a. improvisation ) i had this fear since the first day i started to learn contemporary music. And till now i still don't even dare to improvise !!!! What's wrong with me ??? i'm struggling each time doing solo. Either i will break down crying or just avoid doing solo each time. mayb i'm just stupid or have no talent in it or i shall just go back to my classical music, haih.

Gonna do solo for my next band song, perhaps perhaps perhaps, i still doubt whether i can do it or not. haih....

Happy CNY and Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends.

No CNY for me this year and is my first time staying back @ kl during CNY holidays too. Usually went back to ipoh every year.

will spend my CNY / Valentine's Day by playing violin/piano @ garden cafe, 1 utama. 6 - 10 p.m.

the previous one was in the curve, now is @ 1 utama. Don't go to the wrong place if ya wanna support me lol!

celebrated bi syen's bday @ nihonkai. His bday was suppose to be on 1/2. but we celebrated it a week later.

Sha Ting brought a cake from RT pastry.

We manage to surprise him with the cake because we told him before that we didn't buy any cake for him for his bday lol.

He gave us a shock face when we brought in the cake. hahahah too bad we didn't get any pics of that face

it was also Ah Huey's farewell dinner also!! She's leaving to australia very soon for studies. aihs.. dunno when i can get to see her again...

Replacement as a pianist @ garden cafe, the curve today.

hm... first time doing this kind of performance in a cafe. Damn nervous. Thx to phooi fun who introduce me to this cafe to play. Which i got a quite last minute to get all the repertoire set and didn't really practice much either lol.

The piano is located in the open air area and beside was those lanes where ppl can just pass by and stare at you for a moment. Damn kan cheong ok!!! easily get distracted by ppl who passed by. And i also realize there's one guy take pictures of me too ( bangga - nya ) LOL

Did quite a number of wrong notes. because i could rarely hear myself as the environment was really noisy. The ppl from the table next to me keep talking non stop. Got distracted by them by their gossips also lol.

Anyway it's a good experience though.. hope there's more chance for me to play.

Attended primary school gathering 2 weeks back.

Had our dinner real late... is like around 9 p.m. only every one was here. plus not everyone attend this gathering as promise in the facebook event.

Some couldn't make it too as they have other things to do. Our class teacher also can't make it to this gathering. haih.. so sad right...

haven't seen them for ages already except for xm and sandy. Some since high school but some is like lost contact after primary 6.

a very kekok-ish dinner i had. Maybe is really long long time lost in touch. feel so pai seh i dunno why lol

But at least for hong juin i don't feel pai seh to talk with. haha i met him few times since primary school.

As usual, ss with my 2 lou yaos.

yeah 3 of us still keep in touch always since primary school.

from primary school to high school, and now till college.

we still keep in touch eventhough i study in cheras and both of them study in SS15.

updates for the xmas caroling 2009. it took me too long to upload all of those pics.

It's a really long post yeah btw. mayb the longest post full with pictures lol.

Reached genting the day before our performance.
Everybody was so excited.....to perform.

but try thinking of performing almost the same thing over and over again at different location for 14 days.

walking almost all the genting hotel lobby/ restaurants/ cafe.

all of us become like dead meat at the end of the day.

even my feet also canot tahan wearing heels walking around, dancing around for 4 bloody hours.

classes nowadays are just sooo crazyyy... hate tuesday and thursday the most...

luckily i just dropped out live sound design. Totally don't understand what the lecturer taught us . Maybe i'm not ready for it....

both contemp and classical piano pieces goona kill me very soon!!! contemp still manage to survive a little but now is the classical one!!!! i struggle alot in the classical piece. It's from Brahms.... haihss and a very totally not-my-style piece.

started to play back violin due to one of my band song. It's crazy because we only have 4 of us and 4 of us also major in piano!!! hard to choose songs for us to play too.

There's one thing that i hate the most is ................ UCSI doesn't have enough parking slot for all students who drive there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dam DL loh , i parked at angkasa today u know!!! and have to walk all the way to uni.

I've lotsa delayed for i dunno how long post - jeju island, ipoh trip, and also with the xmas caroling at genting highlands

please pray that i have the mood and time to blog about it.

RIP Grandma

My Grandma passed away on last saturday morning in ipoh.

Just got back from ipoh and rush to university for classes around 5 p.m. Had a little bit of pop history 1 class and the choir class at 6 p.m.

Was aiming for the 10 marks for choir since Mr.Kang said whoever become the sectional leader will get extra 10 marks last week.

Ended up - only me, teddy, xing zu and one more senior attended the audition and all of us got it even though we did quite badly in the answering question part. LOL

And we got "warn" by Mr. Kang to make sure to do our part well. Marks given based on our performance, so it doesn't mean i will get exactly 10 marks, it can be 5 or 6 -.-

if our section doesn't do well, 10 marks deduct from our choir marks!!! haih was really regret going for the audition.

had bbq dinner at Leon's place. took some pictures but i will leave it to the future post coz i'm too lazy to transfer to the pc.

happy new year everybody!!

love this picture the most that i took from wu xi, china.

i've forgotten the name of this place but definitely i will go back there in the future because of the stupid tour lady, we had to just rush and walk and see things in just a short time.

headed to the uni today to help up miss chin for the arranging course files, paper work, etc. Reached there around 1 plus only realize she's out for lunch.

so i Walk around the school and Met this stupid security guard and he asked me some stupid question.

guard : You belum habis belajar ah? kenapa sudah lama saya tengok you belajar di sini?

me : belum ( i just study here for like 1 and a half year, consider lama? -.-)

guard : oh, mesti sudah fail kan, banyak fail fail.

i just ignore him and walk away. Cis betul that fella, freaking angry when i heard him say all this words.

after the china trip for 9 days

and

xmas caroling @ genting highlands for 14 days

finally i'm back to my home sweet home.....

the china trip was fun overall,

love wu xi places and scenery the most. Definitely will go there again in the future.

xmas caroling was fun yet tiring. regret to buy such a high heel boots ended up i have to suffer all the pain!!!!

it's a good experience though , we also get the chance to sing at Francis Yip symphony orchestra xmas eve dinner right before the show start.

back to home now, try my best to watch as much dramas as i can before the school reopens

Had the photoshoot for the xmas caroling last tuesday.

sad to say that all the hard work ( make up, posing ) that we did is just a waste :(

we need to reshoot the picture because genting agent wasn't satisfied with it.

Modern Band Ensemble Concert Sep 2009

my 2nd semester in MBE.

never expect that i got in the same band with Mr. Disco, which made me and the other band mates suffer in this semester.

oh well lucky is a short semester, looking forward when next semester start, send in already with the band request letter, hopefully Juan will approve.

The concert started off with In The Stone by Earth, Wind & Fire.

Anthony, the lead singer along with the back up singer stephanie, derene and kai sing
Emma on drums, Nickson on percussion, kevin on guitar, Steward on bass guitar, Yi fen & Ganesan on keyboards and huay may on piano.

Not to forget the horns section

Eddy, Dave and Chern Yau on alto sax

Dome, The Curve

Choir Concert Sep 2009

okay another semester of choir concert, this is my 5th semester involving in the choir concert. Whenever it comes to choir concert it also means that we are having finals during the week and what else after finals....., holiday!!!

2 months holiday yeah.... I have plan what i should do during the next 2 months!

1. PRACTICE - classical & contemporary

2. Ipoh trip with the course mates

3. taking extra classes from my classical tutor as well as contemporary tutor.

4. replace classes to all my students during December. I won't be free to teach all of them for the whole Decemeber month.

5. Xmas caroling performance. yeah will perform there for 2 weeks in Genting Highlands. Feel free to look for me yeah friends :)

6. last but not least is the shanghai trip! will be going with kenichi and the family.

still consider whether i should continue my violin classical / contemporary because i have stopped the lesson for months already because i'm too busy with my studies and teaching. Kah Mun told me there will be 2 contemporary violin tutors going to be interview. Definitely will have violin contemporary teachers for us next semester, i seriously dunno whether i should continue or not... oh welll..

Celebrated her bday on 10.10.09 night.

We suppose to meet at the uni around 8.20 p.m. Ended up i started my journey from subang at 8.30p.m. because i teached until 7 p.m. then it took me freaking long to dressed myself up.

Really sorry for them waiting for me.

Followed behind Pierz car and came to Bangsar Village. TSB that's what they called.

Song lin, Eunice, Stephen and Joellie waited us quite some time just because i came late.

have been really busy with all the exams going on for the end of the semester. Today ear trainig final was rather ok. Did a little mistake but i guess it should be fine. HAMM on next tuesday, have to start doing revision. Jury is on 26th october, one day after xm's bday. and that's the end of my semester lol.

Went to Sha Ting's hse past few weeks back. It was suppose to be our gathering but on the day itself bi syen brought 3 of his china friends over to Sha's place. He told me he wanted them to experience how malaysian celebrate our mid autumn festival -.-

it was during one of the raya holidays that i managed to spend some time to have dinner with my girls. vivi some how couldn't make it. so, only 3 of us.

had our dinner in TGI, the curve.

Actually our main purpose is to eat their dessert.
Their dessert dam nice ok

But i was too full with all the food that i've eaten ( i finished up the whole set ok!! )

i get so frustrated easily and I dunno how to control my temper. i ended up throw my temper to all my friends.

Today we had our choir mid terms.

After the mid term alot people ask me how's the feeling of playing the same song for 12 times. haha i felt each time i repeat the song i tend to goes faster. yeah i admit wanna end the song quick But somehow I felt everytime i play the song i'm like just sight reading. If you know what i mean.

Surprisingly, only few of them attended the sectional practice after the mid term, some were from the monday sectional practice, just to replace the one which they have miss during the raya holidays.

We ended the sectional practice quite early today, so i went next door to check out the soprano sectional practise, Rachel told me some weren't there. But compare to the altos the amount people whom attended the soprano sectional really different loh.

Of coz i knew why.

Quek told me that i'm stern to those juniors during the sectional practice

Eunice said that i'm fierce with the >_< face. Not everybody can accept the way i lead the sectional.

Perhaps i shall just keep quiet and play the damn piano.

dad is really mad and pissed off of my pop history II result...

yeah i failed the supp paper..... my internal marks ( quiz + mid terms) couldn't help me pass the exam even though i really studied and get better result in the supp paper. Blame myself....

Went dinner just now with him, No matter what i talk to him, He don't answer a single shit to me. Show me the black face sumore.

I don't see what's so big deal to fail a paper. I expect my dad would say try harder next time but in the end i get this kind of reaction.

monday went to station one with eunice at the very last minute to replace one of the singer.

the guy with the blue shirt which you can't see him coz the music stand blocking was eunice's partner, named Jonathan. He really can sing ! @@

and he's also the keyboardist for that night.

me and audrey were practising our two/ three part rhythm section coz the next day we have ear training quiz.

Both of us can't concentrate much as the music keep on distracting us.

and that's why i took out my laptop and snap tons of picture.

Actually we recorded few videos, but too bad my laptop dunno why can't record the sound. yeah, so didn't post up.

I treat it very seriously and even get very excited about it ( in foundation we don't get to involve in the modern band). btw it's my first semester in degree.

it's been almost a week i didn't update my blog.

had been really busy this whole week. mid terms... haih...

for my kawans who dunno, i'm going to korea on the 14/7 - 19/7 for the Jeju International Choir Festival.

yeah. So a camera and a pair of good shoes is MUST especially to go for trips like this.

bought a Sony camera which i hav mention previously last post.

And recently just bought a new pair of shoes from skechers.

Nice not? well, some of my friends say not nice. but is really comfortable when i wear on it.

i wore the "crocs" to uni today. They said i look funny. zzz

i only have 3 plus hours sleep yesterday!! i'm late for band practise and i missed my violin class in the morning. I knew that i'm not goonna survive till band class so i went song lin's place to have a nap and skip to watch recital. But still, i was half awake during band class.

I also skipped teaching class and went macd to have my breakfast + lunch + tea time.

reached home around 6 plus p.m and bath. Quickly take out my violin to practise because i have another violin class at 8.30 p.m. Was rushing to practise like hell coz i didn't touch my violin for a week lol. but in the end the class turn out well :)

headed to nihonkai to have my dinner/supper and fetch mum home.

and now i'm on my bed. lying like a dead pig. haha

btw this year bon odori is on 18th july wei. but I won't be in malaysia that time!! arggh have to wait another year :(

before we start to go the real thing , we had this briefing from this french guy. Warm up and get use with the karabiner and the pulley in the mini skytrex before heading to the 17 meters tall skytrex.

Zis Karabiner has tzo typez… one szhort 1, anotzer longz 1..” ( copied from yen nee's blog)

There are a few rules to follow when using this Karabiners and Pulleys;

1. Fasten them properly
2. Always have at least 1 Karabiners hooked unto the safety cable or to the cable
3. Short Karabiner always in the Pulley (When you’re using Pulley)
4. Long Karabiner always behind the Pulley
5. Make sure the rope doesn’t tangle

And off we go!!

this mini skytrex includes the walking on the woods, tarzan swing and a short version of the flying fox.

You have no idea how long the time past when i'm climbing this ladder!! I stopped for more then 10 times just the rest on the ladder!! I bet i'm the slowest among all of them who climbed this ladder. Haih wat to do? I dont really exercise often. The moment i climbed the first few steps up then i regretted adi ...hahaha

There's more ladders to climb after this!!! walking in the zig zag wood, short flying fox, long flying fox, tarzan swing, etc...

i didn't know there's a chicken exit till yen nee told me after i finish everything. I will consider taking it if i knew it because.... that time half way through i'm seriously dam exhausted of climbing all the ladders and doing all those flying fox acts. Muscle dam pain ok!!

I also got stuck half way during the flying fox. because i din manage to grab the rope when i almost reach to the other end. So it went all the way back. -.- The above picture taken by yen nee while waiting for those workers to save me out of the middle of the flying fox. Damn scary ok hanging up there alone!!

All of us make it to the end with a canggih-ness and stylish exit flying fox. Thx for all the support and helping me out when i got so.. tired... exhausted...and fear !! My heart nearly stopped coz of the tarzan swing. Is too... tarzan-ish ... if u get wat i mean ... lol

Yen nee suggest that we try for the extreme park some other day. LOL this also scare like hell adi still wanna try even extreme one!!?!?!

Hello kawans!

here comes day one pics...

actually i should say a night at penang, coz we just spend a night for day 1 in penang.

reached penang around 6 plus after visited my grandfather @ ipoh

Shall start with day 2 first,
My dad travel to penang weekly to work on his penang bridge project.
Followed his car to ipoh/penang with my lou yaos, xm and sandy.
Will update day 1 some other day...

Day 2

Stayed over at phyllis house with just few hours sleep!
We woke up early coz we don't have much time left in penang.
Phyllis even think of bringing us to thailand and pulau langkawi but our time in penang is really dam limited..

Phyllis drop us somewhere opposite queensbay mall while on the way to fetch song lin.
The view there was nice! SS a little before head to song lin's house.

I haven been inside to queensbay mall, next time next time!!

Due to my kan cheong-ness in the viper ride plus my fear-ness towards water... i grab the handler as tight as possible. After the ride my hand totally exhausted. Can feel the pain-ness in my arm. So i go for the more relaxing horse ride.

before heading back to meet my dad, phyllis brought us to get some dao sa biang to bring back kl.

Rush back to ipoh to meet my relatives for dinner.

After that stephen brought us out to cc a while and yc.

Went to chun hien's bday celebration instead of the modern band concert on that night.

Jury - done , left OA paper.

I felt that after gone through recital, jury is just like.. nothing....lol

Not really that nervous compare to the recital one. Everything just goes smoothly as it is. * Except for some mistakes *

The upright piano that i played on it was really.. no.. no.. good. Out of pitch, bad touch, and noisy pedaling was... a no.. no for me... I wasn't expecting this kind of piano. Since it was a jury, i even thought of playing on the grand piano instead of an upright piano.

I suppose to reach there by 11 a.m. to photostat the program notes for the choir performance. But yeah, when i reached there is already 11 plus. Thx to ying hui, rachel and kevin who did all the photostating job.

After photostating, we need to fold it and staple it.

Folding and stapling the papers won't be done so fast without ying hui, rachel, kevin, anthony, bi ying, jia wai, pik ying, huay may and everett. 200 copies done within an hour! Thank you guys again yea.

woo hooo, i just got back from choir performance. I suppose to blog tomorrow but.. yeah... heehhe

hmm recital had just over.

I can say that i played not really good. Damn nervous when go up to the stage. David said that i played not enough groove. Took a video of my recital but i dun dare to post up here coz is not good yet .. haha.

What's next? JURY!!!!!!

Scales and sight reading exam tomorrow! Sight reading is my biggest enemy and i hope i do well tomorrow!!

for the pieces, I'm too focus on my broadway song and neglect the other 2 piece. Need to practice more adi. 13/4 is the day~ ( next week )

I still need to revise my moral studies and office application. Both papers come really soon too.

AND the most important thing...

Do come and see us for our choir performance on thursday 9/4 night @ Block C UCSI University. Every student compulsory to bring 1 friend there! Any of my friends going please contact me. I don't have any friends confirm going.

hmm... today i got whacked by someone. 18 year old girl got whacked by someone.

well

The someone i'm talking is refering to my mother.

Did a mistake and kena hit by her for like 4 - 5 times at the arm part.

u guys must have think that, 18 year adi still got hit by her mother? Yes, what i'm saying is true.

Tomorrow is my recital day. First recital in uni. I wonder how it will turn up when there's not enough practice.

Next thursday is my choir performance day. Will any of my friends come to watch it? I have no idea.

I'm just very... very sad now.
